ARTIST I am a working artist who's style ranges from a surreal euphoric feel, to modern
impressionism. My acrylics showcase the life that I lead with representations of
what I see in nature, and in my travels. I currently live in Oregon, and
predominantly paint from the northwest region of the United States.
Growing up as an angler, my work touches the hearts of many fishermen,
especially those familiar with the Deschutes and Rogue Rivers in Oregon. My
spiritual connection with nature, and the native people who once ruled these
lands, keeps my pallet brilliant.
My style is unique in that I mix my own colors; using only Napthol Crimson,
Hansa Yellow, Phthalo Blue, Dioxazine Purple, and Titanium White.

WHITEWATER RAFTING GUIDE In the summer and early fall, I work as a whitewater river rafting guide. For
five years I guided on the Deschutes River in central Oregon. This last
year, I went to work for the internationally acclaimed ROW Adventures;
guiding on the incredible Rogue River, also in Oregon.
ROW is unique in that the company offers a variety of excursions ranging
from day trips to outdoor camping to trips with nightly river lodge
accomodations which include fine dining. If you are looking for a great
family or personal vacation, check out what this company has to offer.
Also, if you book a trip on the Rogue and request my services, I will be your
guide and mentor for as long as you are on the river. We'll talk art, nature,
life experiences and have a heck of a good time running some interesting
rapids.
For more information, you can contact me, or review ROW's extensive
website:
FLYFISHING GUIDE This year (2011), I achieved another personal goal, becoming a commercial
flyfishing guide. I work for the only Orvis-endorsed lodge in Oregon--Morrisons
Lodge in Merlin, OR.
Fishing has been a lifelong passion, and remains so. Over the years, I spent a
great deal of time learning to read water; studying the habits of the various
species of coldwater fish, and learning casting techniques with flyfishing gear.
Speycasting is my specialty.
The photo at right is a steelhead caught by a client of mine in October, 2011.
This fish was the largest fish my client ever caught, and one of the largest
steelhead caught on the Rogue this fall.
You can book a trip with Morrison's and request that I be your guide if you so
choose. Contact Morrison's at:
